What is important in your life right now?
Family and friends...they are always the centre of my universe. Love is the key and power to all and without my friends and my family I wouldn't be able to do the things I do. They support me, guide me and offer their wisdom. Being able to share what I do with them, help them in any way and make them proud really helps me strive to do and be better.
What is a hope you have for the future?
Long term hope is that women are empowered, that they find their knowledge and wisdom and feel comfortable in their skin. I truly believe women are the healing power of the earth and that when we connect, feel and allow ourselves to be our truth and come together, then we are unstoppable.
More immediate future is to share the teachings I have learnt, help as many people as possible in whatever way possible and continue to grow into my true self.
What has pain taught you?
Pain has taught me I'm out of alignment, generally that I need to stop and calm down and that I'm can't help others if I'm not listening to my own advise, or that I'm not performing optimally. A couple of times pain has taught me how to adapt movement in certain ways, different way to relief symptoms and this has then helped me understand, connect and create alternative methods to help my clients/students.
What does Connection mean to you?
Connection means an understanding where words aren't needed. It's a flow of simultaneous energy that time nor distance disturbs. It helps you feel whole, energised and calm. I personally feel most connect when in nature, in the ocean in particular, or with the people I love - my unit, the girl gang, and when you get those deep belly laughs. There has also been those times during meditation or when using plant medicines where the connection to the universe is super enhanced and helps me understand, learn, feel and see my steps ahead.
